Teachings, Empowerment (jenang), and Kalachakra retreat with the Venerable Jhado Rinpoche April 5–18, 2020
It is great pleasure that The Four Truth Centre has announced the teaching of the Venerable Jhado Rinpoche which will take place in Russia in April 2020.
His Eminence Jadho Rinpoche will give Buddhist teachings, a Kalachakra Empowerment (Jenang) and will lead a Kalachakra retreat practice. It is great luck and fortune to receive the precious Teachings, Kalachakra Empowerment, Commentary, and Retreat lead by His Eminence Jhado who is being highly qualified as well as being a holder of a pure Dharma lineage.
His Eminence Jhado Rinpoche will be to visit Saint-Petersburg city from 21 – 25 of April to give the Initiation of Yamantaka Hero Solitary(Vajrabhairava wang), Commentary on Guru Puja (Lama-chodpa), and Empowerment of Palden Lhamo (Jenang).

3) People who come to participate in the retreat must be reserve and pay for hotel accommodation. Better to arrive at hotel on April 4 and depart on April 18 (14 days).

Those people who plan to come to receive only teaching and Kalachakra blessing, please pay attention on teaching schedule properly.
Recommendations on preparing for the retreat
Participants have to bring spiritual objects: vajra, bell, kapala and rosary. Please bring also a meditation cushion, a mat, warm clothes, removable shoes, a thermos, notebook and pens. (You can buy spiritual objects at the retreat place if you need).
Self-discipline: alcohol, cigarettes, and drugs are prohibited at the retreat. Stay polite and respect to each other during retreat.
Brief information about Kalachakra Tantra
The Kalachakra tantra has been derived from Buddha Shakyamuni, it has an uninterrupted lineage up to His Holiness Dalai Lama XIV. This practice has an outstanding power to remove all obstacles, diseases, problems as well as to achieve peaceful life and prosperity in individual, in family, in community and for the Universal level.
This event is supporting by Honorary Telo Tulku Rinpoche who is Representative of His Holiness Dalai Lama in Russia, CIA and Mongolia.
A brief biography of Jhado Rinpoche
Most Venerable Jhado Rinpoche (Tenzin Jungne) was born in 1954 to a nomadic family living in the area of Namtso Lake, 220 kilometers North from Lhasa, Tibet. At age three, he was recognized and enthroned as the 6th incarnation of the abbot of Jhado Monastery. After fleeing from Tibet in 1959, Rinpoche stayed briefly in Nepal, then spent several years in Dalhousie and Dharamsala in North India where he completed his basic studies in Tibetan reading, writing and reciting the Buddhist texts. Rinpoche took his vows as a novice monk from His Holiness the Dalai Lama in 1964 and received full ordination vows from the late Ling Rinpoche in 1973.
From 1972 until 1990, Rinpoche studied at Sera Je Monastery in South India, where he received extensive teachings from many great lamas such as great master Lobsang Wangchuk (former abbot) Ven Lobsang Tsering, etc. In 1991, he obtained the degree of Geshe Lha Rampa, the highest level of education in the Geluk tradition. He went on to continue his studies at Gyuto Tantric College at Lower Dharamsala.
From 1992 until 1996, Rinpoche served as a teacher at Namgyal Monastery in Dharamsala, the personal monastery of His Holiness the Dalai Lama. In 1997, Rinpoche was appointed to the post of Abbot of Namgyal Monastery and served the institution in that capacity until 2004. Rinpoche received many transmissions, empowerment, commentary from His Holiness the Dalai Lama, His Holiness’s tutors, as well as from other Buddhist traditions holders, like famous Nyingma master Nyingma Trulshig Rinpoche and Chogye Trichen Rinpoche. From 2012—2017, Jadho Rinpoche has been the abbot of Gyuto Tantric College as appointed by His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama.
His Eminence Jadho Rinpoche is one of the most renowned lama of Geluk tradition who is also very much respected in all Tibetan Buddhist schools. Rinpoche has a deep knowledge of Buddhist Sutra & Tantra, based on his vast experience. He claims himself a simple monk.
